Remember to Be Kind

I got these ranunculus the other day from Trader Joe's, and they look so lovely on my desk that sometimes I forget to work!

Sometimes I wish I could be more thick-skinned, like when an offhand and unassuming comment from a stranger has me in tears, toward the end of an otherwise lovely day. It compels me to remember The Four Agreements, particularly the one about not taking anything personally.
